I am offended that McCain would pick trailer park trash to run against a Harvard Grad. No matter how far we've come regarding education, class and jobs it seems that government and gun toting white supremist will always try to perceive African Americans as unequals. She keeps using words like "joe 6 pack"...another name for gun toting white supremist republicans. Who in their right mind would vote for her. Essentially - if you are voting for McCain you are voting for this KKK "soccer mom".

I agree that her nomination was a slap in the face, and not just to african americans but to women. I am sure there were many capable and intelligent women in the GOP that McCain could have chosen. However, he picked Palin. Saying "forget your education negro boy, this gun toting girl is better fit to run the country". Slap in the face indeed!
